The SensorDock® Multi-Point Averaging Sensor Power Supply is an averaging amplifier for applications requiring an average output from several similar sensors.

The SensorDock supplies power to up to eight sensors, averages the output of those sensors, and provides a single averaged output to a controller or other device.

The SensorDock works with any sensors that can be powered by 12 VDC and produce an output from 0-5 VDC. The SensorDock itself provides an average output from 0-5 VDC.

When gauging air flows through larger ducts, measurements should be taken at multiple points traversing a cross-section of the duct to ensure an average reading of the airflow through the duct. By building an array of multiple units of the FRADENPROBE Air Velocity Transducer, installing the array into a large duct, and wiring the units to the SensorDock, a user can measure airflows accurately at a competitive price.
