This year’s BOMA International Conference and Exposition will be taking place in Washington D.C, between June 25th - 28th, at the spectacular Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. For those of you unaware, BOMA is the Building Owners and Managers Association and represents the commercial real estate industry, including the owners and managers of these properties.  BOMA provides considerable information on building management and operations, a few of which include, leasing and energy consumption. Currently, BOMA has 18 international affiliates - Canada, Russia, Japan etc.- and 91 American associations.

This year I was fortunate to make it to AHR Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The Expo ran between the 25th – 27th of January. For those who aren’t familiar with the AHR Expo it’s an HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) convention for professionals with job roles such as management, technicians, marketing, engineers, architects, maintenance, or just about any other role related to HVACR.
