SensorDock™

Introducing the SensorDock™ Multi-Point Averaging Sensor Power Supply, an averaging amplifier for applications requiring a mean output from several similar sensors. The SensorDock™ supplies power to up to eight sensors, averages the output of those sensors, and provides a single averaged output to a controller or other device. The SensorDock™ works with any sensors that can be powered by 12 VDC and produce an output from 0-5 VDC. The SensorDock™ itself provides a mean output from 0-5 VDC.

 

When gauging air flows through larger ducts, measurements should be taken at multiple points traversing a cross-section of the duct to ensure an average reading of the airflow through the duct. By building an array of multiple units of the FRADENPROBE® Air Velocity Transducer, installing the array into a large duct, and wiring the units to the SensorDock™, a user can measure airflows accurately at a competitive price.
